Earlier this past summer, Abe bought a Nikon Lite Touch AF (a 28mm Japanese camera). Even though we each have our own digital cameras — and also our iPhones — it’s been special having him capture moments on actual film, then waiting patiently for them to be developed (we go to Samy’s).

Here are some highlights through his point-and-shoot lens. The above photo is from our half-day trip to Ordrupgaard. Here are two more from that visit.

We hit a few of the major tourist spots, including Nyhavn and Tivoli Gardens…

… but mostly we walked a lot (about 8 miles a day) and biked. I unexpectedly fell in love with pedal assisted e-bikes and would definitely get one in Los Angeles, if only there were better bicycle lanes.

My favorite part was just sitting in all the fabulous public spaces, outdoor eateries, and people-watching. The weather was absolutely glorious and it felt like the entire city was playing hooky every day.
