As mentioned in my recent perimenopause post, one of my symptoms was a major eczema flare on my arms. Then, less than twelve hours after my OB/GYN put me on birth control pills, I developed rosacea — plus a very rough texture all over my cheeks.
Since I shudder looking at pictures of skin issues I’m going to assume some of you might too. Instead, I’ll post a more recent “AFTER” pic of my skin — all healed… and dare I say — the best it’s looked in a while?!?
This month I’ll be doing several posts devoted to skincare, because if there is anything I’ve learned recently, it’s that if my epidermis doesn’t look/feel good, I’m pretty miserable. Between the flare-ups and the Amazon Prime Day sale, I went into overdrive buying/testing out new products.
So I’ll share all the new serums/gadgets/tools I’ve been experimenting with. (A lot of it is for vanity’s sake.) This week, I’m hoping to help any of you suffering from these two skin barrier issues the best I can.1
