Before 2020, I was very dedicated to Rent the Runway. This was when the clothing rental company had actual stores in different cities that you could go into and try things on/return them easily. Back then, I had an unlimited swap membership, and was constantly going to events and traveling for public appearances. So it made sense to spend $$$ on clothes I would only wear for a month, then return.

I really loved doing it. Not only was it great to feel confident in clothes and not have to clean/store them, but it was perfect for when I was traveling for winter and could rent a bunch of sweaters/coats for non-LA weather.

And the other thing? I found that because I was spending so much money, it forced me to want to go out and wear the damn outfits.
But then, the pandemic happened, and this became my uniform.
