Back in 2020, during the thick of the pandemic, my friend Roxy read my tarot for my birthday. She told me she kept seeing fire/anger in my cards and suggested that I wear a lot of red. Like a good Capricorn, I immediately went out and bought an entire sweatsuit โ which I still own but havenโt really worn since then.
That year has long since passed (as has my anger) and I have found that incorporating little pops of red these days has become a real source of joy. I get in the form of these cozy cloud slippers that I wear inside all dayโฆ
โฆ and red socks which are a double thrill shoved into said slippers.
I have also adopted another technique in the form of a flower pin (an idea that I borrowed from
) โ so the red is waist-up and others can enjoy it too.I also think a red lip is a fun way to add that pop โ but Iโm not crazy about the way lipstick or lip gloss feels when Iโm just lounging at home. So Iโve been combining Vaseline with a lip pencilโฆ if you have a favorite nourishing, sheerly tinted lip balm, please let me know!

I've had this vintage red leather flower pin for 25 years and started to wear it again this Fall. I agree about the pops of red, and I don't have enough.
Great to see you in the Walmart ad today.
