A few extra things for hot weather.
I’ve never thought about summer skincare past SPF, but this year I have noticed a few small things that have made a big difference for when it’s just too darn hot.
A THIN AND EXTRA LARGE TOWEL
I bought this Stripe Bath Towel (above) during a Parachute clearance and was so disappointed at first. Turns out that’s because I got it during the winter, when my body was actually craving a fluffy, thick post-shower experience. Now I appreciate how quickly it dries off my body, and also how fast it dries on a hook too. My current issue with it is that it doesn’t have a loop attached, so it sometimes fall down. Also, it definitely pilled at first so wash it before using! (The style I got is discontinued, here’s the current iteration.)
QUICK DRY HAIR TURBAN
I felt silly when I first bought these (like, why can’t I use a normal towel?!) but I’ve found that these AQUIS hair turbans really do cut drying time in half and are worth the extra price.
