After my recent month-long break, I am finding it all too distracting and yearn for simplification. I intend to continue using this blog as my main method of sharing myself publicly. 🚪Timothy Goodman Boombox Doormat — I haven’t bought a new doormat in over a decade but this one caught my eye as being fun but not too reminiscent of a Pinterest board. I also never buy anything without free shipping but shelled out the $7 (it was on sale, so I justified the price difference).
👟 An update on the custom Nike sneakers Abe made me in the photo above — it took walking in them for several months every day for 20 minutes with thick socks to finally break them in, but happy to report they’re finally comfy! I haven’t had an issue like this with any other style (and I wear A LOT of Nike sneakers) and I know everyone’s feet are different, but keep this in mind if you order Nike Blazers.
💅🏼 Cuccio Cuticle Oil — I usually just slather lip balm on my hangnails, but my neighbor gave me this for my birthday and I’ve been enjoying the ritual of having something dedicated to my constantly dry hands and feet. The big bottle can sit at an angle, which is a fun touch, but it also comes in roller ball form, which is good for the purse/travel.
🧴The Body Cream (gifted) — This should come as zero surprise to anyone who reads this blog regularly but I found my favorite winter moisturizer and it’s by Necessaire, who also makes my favorite body serum, body exfoliating peel, everyday lotion, and retinol hand treatments. The main thing that separates this buttery light but super thick body cream from others is the very luxe, sleek-back glass container it comes in. I feel elevated just looking at it (above my toilet). It’s also unscented and absorbs well without feeling greasy or slick.
