😻 Abe bought the Life Magazine with Garfield on the cover as a joke but when he read some articles to me before bed, I slept more happily than I have in years — prompting me to re-visit some old Garfield-format books (this one was my favorite growing up). Also, Miles is basically Garfield.
🪰 It’s fruit fly season again in our home and I had forgotten how effective these plug-in traps are. I only need one that I kinda move around for room to room until they stop annoying me — just repurchased some glue traps because they do get very gross (in an oddly satisfying way).
👖 Gap x Doen launched a collab this past week and yes, I did set myself an calendar invite to remember to check it out. A lot is sold out, but I did manage to snag myself these wide leg denim trousers. Honestly I don’t know if I’ll end up keeping them but I did use it as an excuse to get free shipping on these underwear I’ve heard good things about. An Honest Review
🕯️ Pop & Bottle x Moodcast collaborated and sent me a gift to review. It’s made of coconut-wax and is inspired by a vanilla oat milk latte. The scent isn’t too overbearing when it burns, but it’s super sweet — not like coffee, but definitely vanilla. Almost like a sugar cookie? I would gift it to a teenager or college student; it comes very nicely packaged. You can order just the candle ($28), with a trimmer/candles ($40) or add a can of actual vanilla oat milk ($68) here as a gift. (Shipping varies, but to my address in LA it is about $5.00).
