I love cloth napkins. But for every day, I don’t need a big, fancy one to place upon my lap. Because if I’m being totally honest, I don’t eat at a table. I eat on the couch.
I can’t remember when I first came up with the idea of using a square dishcloth as a napkin. I think I was at a friend’s house for brunch and she had these adorable, vintage square napkins. I asked where she got them and she said they were from her childhood. That they were napkins for children.
Me, the second I got home:
Soon after, I was shopping for new kitchen towels and came upon these smaller, square ones. They were for dishes, and I’m guessing delicate ones because they were SO SOFT. This was so long ago, the ones I got at World Market have since been discontinued.
But recently I spotted a really cute set while shopping in Venice. Realizing now it was at a children’s boutique. 🤣
Sophie Home’s website has a ton of other cool designs/colors and I love that the company donates to Choose Love (which is my friend Dawn O Porter’s charity).
