My teeny tiny camera
photo roll jan-feb 2026
One of my Xmas/bday gifts from Abe last December was this Kodak Charmera, so small you can wear it like a charm.

The above photo is from my iPhone; here is the first pic I took with it, about an hour after I unwrapped it.
As you can see, it’s not the best quality (it takes video too, which I would not advise unless it’s completely stable). But that isn’t the point; it’s to have something to capture random moments with and not get sucked in by all the distractions on my phone. Kinda like the Burger King pocket camera from the 80’s. I never did figure out how to use mine…
… what I really wanted was a Le Clic, just like Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny. They’re all over eBay!
I did attach the Charmera to my purse for a week, but I wound up reaching for my phone camera (of course)… so I wound up putting it in my bedroom and decided I’d take random outfit pix whenever I felt cute.
Here I am kinda channeling Ms. Tomei with my gold hoops, a gift from my friend Melanie!
This one I snapped after an audition where I played a soccer mom.
The day I first dyed my hair brown. Those are “vintage” BuzzFeed sweatspants!
And another when I stole Abe’s Todd Snyder rugby shirt.
This Beatles jacket I also took from Abe’s closet — we got it at a thrift shop in Japan. You can see that my brown hair is already beginning to fade - it was just before I did the demi-permanent black dye.

Well, that was the end of the roll! I swear I got dressed in more than monochromatic sweatpants outfits… but I guess I forgot to capture them!
