2024 ROUNDUP + links
Previously, on Gen x Taste...
Here we are, at the end of what has been a very challenging year for me personally, but I am to report I am finally beginning to feel rested, refreshed, lighter and ready to start anew.
THIS MONTH
Created a daily vlog for 27 days straight…
Rented some clothing (and then cancelled my subscription)…
I also filmed/updated my current morning skin routine…
… addressed my daily diet as someone who used to binge eat then food blogged for 10 years but developed celiac and now hates cooking…
… and I cut bangs! Yes, as in I cut them myself. And then I went to see an actual hairstylist in Koreatown to fix what I had hacked off. I actually did all of this AFTER I recorded the upcoming Gen X Taste Winter podcast episode with Christy, which will come out next week — the theme is #bangsoverbotox.
THIS YEAR
Started dealing with perimenopause.
Visited friends in Georgia and filmed a project I’ll be hopefully working more on in 2025-2026.
Experienced magic for Abe’s birthday.
